Itinerary
Upon arrival at Tontouta International Airport, you will be met by an A5 Car Rental representative and transferred to their depot for vehicle collection and completion of paperwork.
Once your car hire is arranged, make your way to Nouméa and your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the city centre before settling in.
Overnight stay in Noumea at Hilton Noumea La Promenade Residences in a Studio Apartment.
Head to Pouembout for a short hike on Plateau de Thia to enjoy a panoramic view over the area and ocean. Then visit the Cultural Centre of Pomemie (kanak exhibits). Reach your hotel in Koné.
Overnight stay at Hotel Hibiscus in a Spa Room.
Head to Voh to walk on the Gatope Beach, visit the coffee Ecomuseum after which you can fly over the heart of Voh on a ULM. Reach Poum and your hotel.

Visit the Koumac Cave, the Mines of Tiebaghi and enjoy a lunch and afternoon on Ilot Tiam Bouene.

Reach the far North of New Caledonia, walk on the Nenon beach, and drive to “Boat Pass”, the northern extremity of the mainland with views on the Beleps Islands. Visit the St Denis church, the first catholic church of New Caledonia. You could stop at Association Djowero to learn how to carve mountain rocks. There are two waterfalls along the way: Cascade de Tao & Cascade Colnett. Head south to take the last ferry-boat of New Caledonia joining the road between the north of the mainland and Hienghène. Reach your hotel in Hienghène.

Visit the Cultural Centre of Hienghène, reach the viewpoint over the Sphynx and Hen (rocks in front of the Bay), walk on the “500 francs bill” beach (this beach used to be on the 500 francs bill), and stop along the Linderalic Rocks in Hienghène.

Visit the Twaé Corridor, a rock formation dug by water and at the end of which flows a waterfall. Then enjoy the Tibarama islet for a relaxing lunch and afternoon (short boat ride). Reach your hotel in Poindimié.

Return to Nouméa and enjoy your last two days to visit its bays, city centre, cultural centre…
Overnight stay in Noumea at Hilton Noumea La Promenade Residences in a Studio Apartment.
After breakfast, check out of your accommodation and drive to the A5 Car Rental depot near Tontouta Airport. Return your vehicle with a full tank of fuel and complete the necessary paperwork. Once finalised, you will be transferred to Tontouta International Airport for your onward flight. Please allow approximately 3–5 hours travel time from Nouméa prior to your departure.
